About True Blue Customs

Hello!  My name is William Hobbs, aka True Blue.  I was born and raised in Lexington, Ky, I grew up a huge sneakerhead and was always into art as a child. Through the years, my love affair with sneakers only grew stronger and eventually became an obsession. Fast forward to the early 2000s, I began customizing Air Force 1's and Dunks for friends and family as a small hobby. It wasn't until 2012 that I decided to sit down, get serious, and start making a living out of my skill of creating custom sneakers. I quit my day job of 12 years at Pepsi-Cola and went head first into my new career as a full-time artist. Since then, I’ve done sneakers, cleats, sports gear, and even custom basketballs for notorious people such as Pope Francis, Ale 8, Snoop Dogg, Drake, John Calipari, Trevor Bauer (2020 Cy Young winner), Alex Verdugo, Fernando Tatis Jr. and even members of Pearl Jam, amongst many others. Today I am still creating unique works of art for all kinds of people from all different backgrounds, and I hope you're interested in ordering some for yourself!
